Resploot – Whale Shark

Resploot was founded in response to one of the most pressing problems we face today – plastic waste and its impact on our planet. It is clear that the way forward is to reduce plastic waste and recycle what we have accumulated so far. Resploot toys were created in 2019 with a unique solution to this problem. Resploot has partnered with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to take their efforts a step further and create awareness about endangered wildlife the world over.

Part of the profits from Resploot toys is donated to the WWF to support their conservation efforts. Whale Sharks are hunted for their meat, fins and oil. Whale Shark tourism also threatens the species’ survival as it interrupts feeding patterns and often, the sharks are injured by boat propellers. Whale sharks should be found in all tropical oceans and their presence indicates the presence of plankton which they primarily feed on.
