Resploot – Hawksbill Turtle

Resploot was founded in response to one of the most pressing problems we face today – plastic waste and its impact on our planet. It is clear that the way forward is to reduce plastic waste and recycle what we have accumulated so far. Resploot toys were created in 2019 with a unique solution to this problem. Resploot has partnered with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to take their efforts a step further and create awareness about endangered wildlife the world over.

Hawksbill Turtles are found in tropical oceans and especially around coral reefs. They actually help to maintain the health of the reefs as well as of sea grass beds. Hawksbill turtles have beautifully patterned shells with lovely colours for which they are hunted. Plastic pollution in oceans also contribute to their deaths they mistake floating plastic bags in the ocean to be jellyfish which they eat.
